You can reach Deer Island from the ferry terminal in Letete, Charlotte County, New Brunswick. Letete is about 14 kilometers or 20 minutes from Saint George. Visitors from Quebec, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia should travel to Saint John, and follow Route 1, west to Saint George. Upon arriving in Saint George, follow the signs to Deer Island via Highway 172.
Visitors from Maine and the US should travel Route 1 from St. Stephen, New Brunswick to Saint George. Upon arriving in Saint George, follow the signs to Deer Island via Highway 172.
